The pear tree residenting in
Europe is a
deciduous tree with an upright oval crown. One finds it
rarely wildly as single in mixed forests, but frequently in gardens and
fruit plantations. The wood is reddish- grey in natural condition. When it
is steamed it becomes pleasantly reddish. The
design is indistinct, becomes however better visible by steaming. The
wood is hard and well to be worked on. |
